Token Pre-Order Specials Extended to Friday, May 4th

 

 

 

Due to some requests that we have received involving extending the pre-order token specials past May 1st, we are extending the deadline until Friday, May 4th (11:59pm).  We hope this helps those of you who get paid at the first of the month. 

 

Why are so many people pre-ordering?

 

If you buy now you can take advantage of this pricing AND premiums.  Groups are throwing money together and buying now.  And we really appreciate it since we can use the funding now to buy needed supplies.

 

1 pack = $10

 

10 pack = $95 plus two FREE bags (a total of 12)

 

25 pack = $250 plus five FREE bags (a total of 30), plus one Ultra Rare token of your choice (mailed around May 20th).

 

50 pack = $500 plus 10 FREE bags (a total of 60), plus one Ultra Rare token of your choice (mailed around May 20th), PLUS one Ultra Rare token of your choice (mailed only 2-3 days after placing your pre-order!). This “mailed now” Ultra Rare token will be taken from our very limited stock of factory sample tokens that just arrived. Both types of UR tokens are free to be used at the event.

 

100 pack = $1000 plus 20 FREE bags (a total of 120), plus two UR tokens of your choice (mailed around May 20th), plus two UR tokens of your choice (mailed out 2-3 days after placing pre-order!). PLUS, you will receive a numbered and signed copy of the module after the event is over in August. This module will contain a map of the event as well as many photos and illustrations not available anywhere else. If you place a $250 (or greater) order, you will be contacted by us to get your choice for the UR token you wish to receive. All orders add $10 of shipping regardless of the size of the shipment.

 

Also, please keep in mind that "1 out of 100 bags" will contain an UR token -- so if you cannot afford a $250 purchase there is still a chance you will receive an UR token in your order in May.

 

After the pre-order period ends on May 4th, all special offers will be re-aligned. The "free UR token of your choice" will be discontinued and it will be replaced by a random UR with every $250 purchase. You must order before May 4th in order to receive a UR of your choice.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please use our website service to order. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT to buy the tokens even though we use PayPal to process your order. They take normal credit cards too. Just click on the CONTINUE button at the bottom of the check out page. AGAIN, you DO NOT have to have a PayPal account to purchase tokens. We just use them to process your VISA, AMEX or MasterCard.

 

Once your order is placed, we will contact you for your choice(s) of your UR token.

 

 

 

 

Almost Here!  True Dungeon Tickets On Sale at 4:00pm (PDT) – Monday, May 7th at $34.50 per ticket

 

In order to provide the best possible ticket buying experience, True Dungeon tickets will not go on sale until four hours AFTER all other event tickets go on sale on at Noon on Monday, May 7th.  All other event tickets will be available at Noon (PDT), while TD tickets won’t be available until 4:00pm (PDT) – or 6:00pm Central (7:00pm Eastern).  We hope this plan will lead to the fewest problems for everyone.  The ticket price will be $34.50 per ticket, and one person can buy all 7 tickets for a group online – starting at 4:00pm PDT. 

 

 

Combo Tokens for 2007

 

 

Pictured above are the three combo tokens available at the True Dungeon event in 2007.  These will be available for trade inside the True Tavern on Thursday-Saturday nights from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.  This is just a little bit of fun with the tokens at the Con.  You must have the specific tokens listed below to trade with the mysterious stranger inside the Tavern.  The ingredients are as follows:

 

Dagger of Throwing ---------------

Recipe: 7x bladed weapons, 1x Scroll of Keen Edge, 40x GP in gold and or gems (or no gold/gems and 1x Stone Spider Fang)

 

Gem of Blinding ---------------

Recipe: 1x Thunderstone, 1x pyrite, Ix Sardonyx, 2x Small Steel Mirrors, 1x Potion of Fire Resistance, 2X Scroll of Shocking Grasp, 100 GP in gold and or gems (or no gold/gems and 1x Ghoul Tongue)

 

Spider Silk Shirt ---------------

Recipe: 3x Fluorite, 1x Jade, 1x Mortar and Pestle, +1 Cloak of Resistance, 3x Leather Armor, 1x Universal Solvent, 1x Anti-toxin, 1x Scroll: Slow Poison, and 300 GP in gold and or gems (or no gold/gems and 1x Dryder Silk)

 

 

HARDCORE Token for 2007

 

 

Any player who can successfully complete a HARDCORE setting of this year’s True Dungeon adventure “Race Across Greyhawk” will receive a Rare token for free as a prize.

 

 

 

Other Special Tokens in 2007

 

  

 

 

The “Alchemist Pouch” token will only be available inside the adventure as found treasure.  It is a nice little item to protect your precious potions from damage if you happen to fall into a pit – or if you encounter a powerful magic dispelling force.

 

The “Guild of the Ale Drinkers” token will be given to all players at the end of their adventure.  This will allow them to enter the True Tavern free of charge once during the Con.  You might also be able to trade for one inside the Tavern with a certain mysterious stranger.

 

 

Prop Auction and Token Exchange

 

At Gen Con 2007, on Saturday at 8:00pm inside the True Tavern we will hold a special prop auction that will use token gold pieces and gems as currency.  There will be at least 5-6 items up for verbal bids, and the exact list will be published around Aug. 1st.  Projected items up for bids include actual one-of-a-kind items that were used for token photographs (like the ring in the Ring of Focus) and actual props from past and the current TD adventures.  Other memorabilia may also make it to the auction floor.

 

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5:00-7:00om inside the True Tavern we will hold a token exchange.  This is your chance to turn in some old tokens you don’t want – in exchange for a free random upgrade of a 2007 token.  For instance, you can turn in 25 old Common tokens (any year), and you can draw a random Uncommon token from a box.  The exchange formula is as follows:

 

25 Common [Brown] = 1 Uncommon

 

10 Uncommon (or Rare pre-2007) [Dark Green] = 1 Rare

 

25 Rare (or Very Rare pre-2007) [Red] = 1 Ultra Rare

 

You are limited to 5 exchanges, and then you must go to the back of the line.  Each random pull will be from a random treasure box much like those inside the dungeon.  Only the core 140 tokens in the 2007 set will be available inside the boxes.  Limited to available supplies.

 

 

True Arena and True Dungeon 101

 

We are bringing back True Arena – the gladiatorial combat game that uses the TD combat system to see who is the best TD fighter.  We are also adding a seminar called “True Dungeon 101” and it will be hosted by some loyal TD players who will try to give as much insight to newbies and veterans alike.  We will post more info about these events when the Event Catalog is published. 

 

 

True Dungeon Details for 2007

 

This year’s event Race Across Greyhawk picks up after last year’s meeting with the Drow.  Players must clandestinely travel through Greyhawk to locate a Shadowgate so they can teleport outside the besieged city and strike hard at the heart of the invading army.  There will be two somewhat identical dungeons this year with one adventure being more puzzle based and the other concentrating more on combat.  Pick the one that fits your adventuring style.  You can find complete True Dungeon 2007 info HERE.
