It is only 36 days to Gen Con Indy!  We are all working very hard to get the event ready, and we are really looking forward to the best True Dungeon ever.

Reserve Tokens

To make life much easier for many of our token collectors, True Adventures, Ltd. is conducting a special program until July 20th, 2007.  All past collectors have until that deadline to make sure that any tokens arrive at the special Reserve Token address (in Indiana) in order to qualify for the offer.

What is the offer?  We are offering to exchange ANY TD gold piece or gem tokens for Reserve Tokens that represent large gold piece values.  These Reserve Tokens are special "published exactly the same way every year" tokens that have a special burgundy color and non-adorned outer ring.  For many years to come, TD will be offering to trade old GP and Gem tokens for these high value tokens.  These special, never-change tokens are designed to allow collectors to have an easy method to carry large amounts of gold piece value.  For instance, a collector can turn in several wooden and composite GP and Gem tokens that tally up to 1,000 gold pieces for a special Reserve Token that is a 1,000 GP Gold Bar.  This Gold Bar token can then be carried to Gen Con or sent in the mail during a trade. 

At Gen Con, these Reserve Tokens will be handy for trading and for a fast exchange during the Saturday night True Dungeon Auction (see below).  We will only accept Reserve Tokens as payment at the Auction, but don’t worry we will give you change back in the form of lesser value Reserve or Gem tokens.  There is also a possibility that these Reserve Tokens could be used for certain future Combo items, or they might be used for other activities only open to 5th+ level players.

We are doing this service completely free of charge, and you only have to pay the shipping to get your tokens to the special Reserve Token address.  NOTE:  There is a 500 GP value minimum trade in, and we ask that you combine all your tokens into one order.  We will cover the cost of shipping the tokens back to you.  Due to shipping costs for non-USA collectors, we ask that overseas orders have a 1,000 GP minimum. 

IMPORTANT NOTE:  You MUST print out the proper form available HERE, fill it out, sign it and enclose it with your order.  Be sure to “double-box” any large orders, and tape it very, very well.  Please email Dave Radtke at dave@truedungeon.com to receive the proper Reserve Token shipping address.  Do NOT ship your tokens to True Adventures, Ltd. HQ in Carbondale, Illinois.

Trading in your Gold and Gem tokens for Reserve Tokens will also be done at Gen Con Indy inside the Tavern – during special combo’ing hours.  See notice at the entrance of the Tavern for exact times and details.

Please understand that these tokens will be available for years to come, so there is no "do or die" rush to get in on the offer before July 20th.  We will again offer this exchange throughout the upcoming years for exactly the same tokens.  We hope this makes it easier for collectors to trade large amounts of gold, as well as make it easier for collectors to purchase high-cost items.

Saturday Night Auction

At 8:00pm on Saturday at Gen Con Indy we will have a small special auction of True Dungeon items.  These will be things like props from previous years, items used as models in the tokens, and other goodies that only True Dungeon fans will enjoy.  We will accept payment in the form of Reserve Tokens ONLY, so be sure to cash in your old tokens for nice shiny Reserve Tokens either before Gen Con Indy or at the special times at the Con.  We will give you back change after you pay for your winning bid in the form of Gems or other Reserve Tokens.  The auction will take place near the Event Reg Desk at 8:00pm on Saturday night.
