Charity Fundraiser for

Cancer Research Institute

 

 

 

We are printing up a limited-edition of 200 copies of a 96-page novella called “Hope for the Lost”.  The professionally published book is a narrative of the past two years of True Dungeon’s module story as well as a tease and introduction to this year’s final adventure of the 3-year story arc.  There are even some clues embedded into the novella that will help you in this year’s adventure.  The novella also features five pieces of artwork depicting various scenes courtesy of TD volunteer Brian Kelley.  Each book will be signed by the author Dennis Baird (and me).  The novellas will be professionally printed with a full-color cover and perfect binding.  The story detailed within gives an excellent review of the past two years’ events in the three-year story arc, and it presents an interesting introduction to this year’s final adventure.

 

We are selling these books for $10 each, and 100% of the purchase price is being donated to the Cancer Research Institute.  My family and True Dungeon are splitting the cost of the printing so this is a great way for you to get a cool keepsake AND help others.  These books will go on sale at the True Dungeon token booth outside Marriott Ballroom 8 at 5pm on Wednesday.  You can also pick up some copies at the author’s booth (#2235) in the Exhibit Hall on Thursday morning.

 

This endeavor is being undertaken in the name of long-time True Dungeon volunteer Stu Bernard who was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. It is his wish that we raise money not for him, but for the Cancer Research Institute.  We hope to raise $2,000 for this great organization – and therefore honor Stu’s request.  The whole True Dungeon crew wishes Stu the very best with his coming treatment.
